The ukgh team have been lucky enough to gain access to Charlton house in London and we would like to take you with us.
Charlton house was built between 1607 and 1612 by Sir Adam Newton, in world war two it was bombed and the ruined areas were then rebuilt using non matching bricks giving the house a more modern look but do not let this fool you the building is very old and it has a lot of hidden secrets some yet to be discovered.
The house contains numerous stunning rooms, an attic, cellar and fantastic grounds
Charlton house has a cellar that contains a vault that has not been opened in 40 years
Over the years many families have lived and died within the walls of this magnificent house the house has so many stories that we can discover on our night there,
Charlton house is said to be one of the most haunted houses in London! With its array of creepy areas such as the attic and its dark unnerving basement,
They say evil spirits got worse the higher up you went in the house so the carved faces on the banister get uglier as you go upstairs.
Paranormal reports of a grey lady has been seen numerous times by staff and guests, child’s laughter can be heard throughout the house, footsteps, bangs, doors slamming all for no apparent reason.
